Connect
As a local congregation of the church of Christ, we provide a multitude of community-building church events. They are a way to connect with your fellow Christians and build a strong network of believers. From youth groups to vacation bible school to bible classes, there are plenty of organized meetings at the church at Reno for you and your children to learn about the way of God and build a fellowship.
The church provides a place for worship, but it is also a place where young people can grow together, creating lifelong friendships. Through church events, people with the same goals and beliefs can grow, challenge one another, and learn together. This is a way for people to fellowship together outside of worship services.
The youth today are faced with many adversities. It’s a fast-paced, ever-changing world. Our youth face many temptations and challenges to their faith. The simple teachings of the Bible can guide your child within a strong, supportive community.
We also offer personal Bible study classes to help you continue on your path toward spiritual growth end enlightenment. They are a welcoming place for those who want a deeper understanding of the Bible and its lessons.
Keep an eye on our calendar for more local church events. All are welcome.
Youth Group
Youth ministry requires passion, patience, and faithfulness. Our duty is to help steer young lives toward God and His word in the middle of this mixed up and confusing world. Youth group hopes to educate, connect, and hopefully transform these young people as they transition from youth to adults.
Responding to the spiritual needs of young people is about building trusting relationships. It includes recognizing their gifts for ministry, their questions about spirituality, and their desire to make a difference in the world. As part of our efforts to accomplish these goals, the church at Reno provides a time for fun and fellowship, for the youth, ages 12 and up.
We meet most Friday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.

Bible Classes
Every people, tongue, and tribe across the globe, and down through the ages, have struggled to discover meaning and purpose in their lives through apprehension and understanding of the answers to four fundamental questions.
1. Who am I?
2. Where did I come from?
3. What is my purpose?
4. What happens when I die?
We are tired of congregations and preachers who wink at sin. We don’t want any part of those who rationalize their own sinful lifestyles while ignoring the Bible’s teaching on purity, devotion, and victory.
We don’t want to be like so many churches and leaders that live and act no differently than the lost and dying world they are supposed to be helping. These are blindly playing church, and are deluded by Satan into believing they follow God, when in fact they are slaves to the trendy traditions of worldly men.
The Bible has the answers to these questions and more. If you would like help finding these answers to these questions, consider attending a personal Bible study. You can set this up with one of our Elders or Evangelists for a personalized meeting.
Because real Christianity is a vibrant pursuit of excellence, Christians should never stop learning and growing in the faith. We believe it is of the utmost importance for every Christian to have a solid, in-depth, Bible-honoring, study of God's Word. These classes are not simply instructing people about what they should believe as if they were mindless robots, but challenging people to learn how to study the Bible with intellectual honesty. This will produce personal convictions and a firm foundation for their lives.
These classes are meant to produce personal spiritual growth and maturity. We encourage and equip believers to have personal devotions, memorize scripture, participate in soul-winning, develop a meaningful prayer life, and grow closer to God. We aim to elevate people’s standard of living. These classes should encourage Christians to seek holiness, and motivate them to attain the highest moral standards in their lives.
”Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.”
