Your church is your community.
Your church is your home.
We invite you to a church that is inclusive, truly follows the Bible, and has a heart for God and his people. At the church at Reno, we follow the Lord and teach God’s Word. We are disciples and believe we can grow and learn together as the body of Christ. We find the Christian life to be filled with joy; a life rich with fellowship and love.
The church at Reno has been a blessing to its members and the community since 1957. We have seen the growth and changes in Reno over the years and are excited to welcome new members. The world may be changing, but the Bible stays the same; God’s Word never fails.
Live Sermons
Grow closer to God, and closer to each other.
If you are in pain, Christ will comfort you.
If you are lost, Christ will lead you.
If you are curious, Christ will teach you.
If you want to return, Christ will receive you.
We welcome people and families from all walks of life. Together, we are Christians no matter our cultural, societal, or economic backgrounds. Regardless of your circumstances, the church at Reno and the teachings of Christ can guide you to a better life here and beyond.
We are on this earth to learn.
In addition to thoughtful Christian services, we also offer a Christian education for grades K-12. The church Academy at the church at Reno provides an alternative to public and charter schools. Here, your child will learn Christian morality and Biblical principles while receiving a standard, high-quality education.
We follow the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E) accredited curriculum consisting of core subjects and electives. Our tuition is competitive compared to other Christian schools in Reno and we have an impressive teacher to student ratio. The church Academy has been operating since 1979. Hundreds of our graduates have gone on to pursue successful careers and continue their education at prestigious universities.
Christian education is beneficial in many ways. Not only will your student receive more individualized attention from our teachers, but they will also be with peers who follow the Bible. Your child will thrive in a moral environment while also receiving a top-notch education.
No creed but Christ;
No book but the Bible.
Looking for a smaller more intimate group to pray and fellowship with? Several in-home Bible studies are scheduled throughout the week. Our worship services include traditional hymns, preaching prayer, and the Lord’s Supper. We never pass a collection plate at any services.
We strive to follow the inspired word of God most closely and teach the Bible honestly. There are no sales gimmicks or money schemes here, only God’s will for your life.
We believe God’s Word reveals five basic steps in God’s plan of salvation:
Believe
Repent
Confess
Be Baptized
Live Godly
Evangelist Welcome
Welcome to the church at Reno. We want to help you find the way to life eternal. Now that you have found us, we want to invite you to visit our assembly. The church at Reno meets together three times each week.
On Sunday mornings we have Sunday school classes for all ages at 9:30 a.m. This is followed by a time of inspirational singing, gospel preaching, and the Lord’s Supper at 10:30 a.m. We would also encourage you to attend our Sunday evening service at 6:30 p.m. for more singing and preaching. Communion is made available for those not able to attend the morning service.
On Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. the church comes together for prayer and Bible study.
Even though our congregation is composed of a diversity of people, from many different social, economic, and multicultural backgrounds, we are simply Christians. We hold up the Bible as the sole book of instruction for God’s church. We believe there should be no additions, no subtractions, and no substitutions to the holy Word of God.
We are a people who love God and are working together to help others find the way to life everlasting.
