Dan Moriarity is the academy supervisor since 2011. He is in charge of the day to day operations of the academy. He is married to Kim moriarity and they have 3 grown children. A Christian of many years he moved from Washington State to Reno answering the call of the church in Reno for a new school supervisor. He is a former business owner and comes with much experience in working with and directing others.
Regina Anderson is the little learning center supervisor for grades k-2. She has worked with the academy as a moniter and as a homeschool mom! She is married and currently has two children- both enrolled at the academy.
Kim Moriarty is our office administrator assistant and the schools english tutor. She is married to Dan moriarty and has 3 grown children.
Kathryn teaches music at the academy for grades K-12, and has developed a widely acclaimed music program there. Kathryn received a scholarship from the University of Nevada, Reno and graduated from there with a degree in music. Her students perform for many local events and have won numerous awards regionally and internationally and she encourages her students to be involved musicians. Her main purpose in teaching is to help students develop their musical talents so they can use them to serve the Lord.
Besides the full time staff the academy relies on numerous volunteer moniters from parents and church members. all staff and many volunteers go through additional training as required by Accelerated Christian Education. many bring their experiences and degrees with them.
Wayne Cobb is the school's principal and an evangelist with the church. He does the devotions for the middle/high school children and does many of the class field trips.
Luke Anderson is a former graduate of The Church Academy and an evangelist with the church at Reno. He is also the schools math tutor and backup school supervisor.
Ronald Poe is the former school supervisor from 1979 to 2010. He currently advises. moniters, and does devotions. His years of dedication to Christian education and to the children have helped this school become what it is today.
